Quay West Suites Melbourne
On recently staying at Quay West Suites, we had a room at a reasonable price on the 9th floor. While not the cheapest hotel in Melbourne, the rooms are luxurious at standard and below average prices.
On arrival we were upgraded to a deluxe suite on the top level, with a balcony and a view of the Yarra river and Melbourne CBD. Also included was a huge ensuite and separate kitchen.
This meant the world to us as we had a night out booked for an important occasion!

I stayed at the Westin in Melbourne 2 years ago, as a gift from some friends. Aside from the hotel being exquisitely classy, well maintained and comfortable, the level of service and comfort far outweighed the cost of the room.
