Yes, it’s not the same as being there in person. 

You want to use all the senses, including the food smells, tastes, sounds and surrounding sights. 

I compare this to my first trip to Thailand, where prior to, we watched an incredible, natural video of the resort were would be staying in.  Once at the resort, we had the most memorable and personal stay, which far outweighed only experiencing by the video.

BUT, watching the resort video ahead of our trip, gave us a taste of what to look forward to, and our excitement grew and grew before we departed for our holiday.

I have listed some of the less obvious online and virtual ideas to get a taste of travelling in Melbourne.  When else do we have time to really sit down and take our time to view online all aspects of new destinations?
